I have always noticed the details in everything around me by observing how objects relate to each other spatially, and how their appearance is affected by light as it changes throughout the day.

As an artist, I like working with paint as my primary medium, incorporating metal surfaces for their reflective quality. My work is influenced by the bold symmetry of the Arts and Crafts style, and the asymmetrical simplicity of Japanese art.

I find great beauty in objects that are aged and worn. The chipped paint, the cracked wood, the burnished metal, all speak of a rich history that inspires a renewed perspective.
